What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an account.
2. Upload a big image
3. Go to the settings, profile, or events page.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What is expected is the images show up properly sized.
What happens instead is the image shows up full sized.

If we don't fix this, we shouldn't launch with profile pictures.

Lee, this is something you can't test locally correct?

Yeah, I should try again to get the PIL (python image library) code working
again on
my localhost... and/or put a try/catch or disable around it so that every dev
isn't
burdened with yet another library to get working.

The GAE code to resize is pretty trivial. Do we need just one size of avatar
for V1?

hey guys, i just changed the css to fix the picture width @185px so this isn't
a high
priority anymore. looks like eventually we'll want to resize the actual
uploaded image
