Where to place CHDs? #11

No matter where I place the CHD, I always get a '*.chd NOT FOUND'.

I tried all 7 chds straight in the roms folder or inside their own folder in the roms folder.

I also added to the rom's .zip. Nothing works. Even converted to raw and recreated the chd with hdcomp (mame 0.72's version of chdman). Chdman -info shows the correct MD5, and -verify says it's correct. MD5 of the CHD as Windows sees it, is wrong. I wonder if the problem lies there...

Figured it out. But... I hope you can live with like 5fps lol 1) You need a v1 chd. Grab the latest and create a .raw with it using the latest chdman, then use hdcomp from 072 and create a chd from the raw. Then place it in switch/MAME-NX/roms. This isn't how mame itself works. It really should be in /roms/kinst/kinst.chd. But this app doesn't work that way. Both kinst.zip and kinst.chd live in /roms.
