No way to activate loader GUI on certain laptops

Hey,

I have a Zephyrus G15 2022, which doesn't have an insert key. There is no way for me to activate the loader GUI to adjust the FOV/FPS sliders.

Any advice/alternative to change the binding?

Having a CFG to load the settings from and change stuff externally would've been nice.

I am pretty sure you can do Fn + I to simulate the Insert key on laptops.

Hey, just reporting back to mention that the shortcut (and a host of others that I tried to use to activate the loader) didn't work. Unfortunate news for me.

Instead, I tried checking the custom hotkey rebind function since I use G-helper (this section in particular: https://github.com/seerge/g-helper#custom-hotkey-actions )

https://keyboardchecker.com/ says that it is definitely detecting the press of the insert key when I press the rebound key (albeit it's a gray key, but it got highlighted when pressed on the virtual keyboard display on the site). However, the loader doesn't open up in-game. Please advise.

Are you sure the program is being correctly loaded in the first place? With the default configuration the menu should automatically pop up. To reset the configuration go to your Documents folder and delete the genshin-utility directory. If you're sure that the utility is loaded but you still cannot toggle it I will consider changing the menu key.

So, I opened up CMD in administrator mode and ensured that I ran the loader via CMD, monitoring the output as well.

Made sure to point the loader to the game's exe file directly. The loader did work..until I hid the overlay with the custom-bound insert key. Then it never showed up again (like it typically does on my PC in Genshin/HSR).

Very weird behaviour. It also introduced this micro-stutter on the menu page itself (after all loading has stopped, with the star rail animation among the asteroids), as well as the game once loaded. I am not sure what to attribute any of it to..I will close this issue and live with the registry method for the time being.
