Is my LEA6 GPS defective?

Arducoper ACM?
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  I power up the Ardupilot 2.5 board and lights flash excitedly

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Now, (for "no" reason) the GPS displays no indicators and my GUI    can not 
find the GPS.  The first time I connected, the GUI was pointing to my house on 
the satellite map. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

APM 2.5 with the "top-of-the-line" 3DR LEA6 GPS module.  My commputer is a 
Windows 7 and I have had no other issues until now.

Please provide any additional information below.

Just wondering if I should invest in another (cheaper) GPS?  Can annyone offer 
up a plausible reason for the GPS to die???

Hope you have solved the issue. If not it sounds like an RMA (not a arducopter 
SW issue)
