Joy Mapping Emulator Functions Doesn't Work with Sixaxis Controller #439

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Describe your system:
 - Operating System (be specific): Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS 2.6.32-30-generic
 - Machine type (32-bit or 64-bit): 64-bit
 - Mupen64Plus version: 1.99.4
 - Plugins used: Rice/Glide for video, Mupen SDL for audio and input, Hacktarux/Azimer for RSP

Describe the problem:
Altering the Joy Mapping Stop = "" section of the config file doesn't result in
an action. The Sixaxis is otherwise configured correctly, but regardless of
the button assigned to the function, it doesn't work. Attempted formats:

Joy Mapping Stop = "button(16)"
Joy Mapping Stop = button(16)
Joy Mapping Stop = 16
Joy Mapping Stop = "16"

16 is currently an unused button on the joystick (though it exists).

From http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/wiki/ControllerSetup

Joy Mapping Stop = "J0B16"

It is explained in the Mupen64Plus_Core_Parameters.txt

I will close this as invalid because a solution was already there and the bug
author didn't add additional information.
