Missing backgrounds #94

When creating a character, only the Acolyte background is available.

Due to licensing issues. All non-SRD content was removed from orcpub.

There is a message on character builder that explains that.

You can add content from other sources using the builders in the 'My Content' menu.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I had not considered that the backgrounds would be non-SRD. But I do not understand why the acolyte background is SRD, and the other 12 are not. Would you have any insight into this?

That's just what Wizards of the Coast decided to do. Only they could say why.

The assumption most people have made AFAICT is that the SRD is the bare minimum needed to try the game for free.

With the idea that if you like it you'll buy the full content.
