Add support for HTC flyer scribe buttons #23

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Press buttons on my scribe shoe inking and nothing happens
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would be very excited if functionality for buttons on the pen was added. One
button should default to the eraser, maybe other is configurable for pen/pencil
swap or a second ink color.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
8.2

Please provide any additional information below.

I would also like to see the scribe buttons implemented. The top button as
eraser (hold is preferential to toggle for consistency) and the bottom button
toggles pens (similar to clicking the button in the menu bar). Here's hoping
we don't have to wait until ICS. I'm loving this app on my Jetstream and this
would make it perfect.

Why not use the second button for a highlight function as the HTC note app
functions?
Otherwise I would be very happy to see the HTC scribe buttons fully utilized as
well.

It looks like one of the buttons is supported as an eraser. I think that we
should be able to select their function (ie, eraser, select, pen).
