Add or delete DEC-style line numbers: the first word of each line has five decimal digits and bit 35 is set. Note that the previous line has to be padded out with NULs to a word boundary.
-a adds line numbers to a normal text file.
-d deletes line numbers from a DEC-style file.
Adding -f "fixes" a broken file where NULs have been removed and bit 35 has been cleared. It must be combined with -a or -d.
