It would be good with some reference photos of a VT52.

Hello @sethm,

Is your VT52 up and running? I would like to tune my CRT shader according to what a real VT52 looks like. Asking your kind favor, would it be possible to photograph some text samples off your unit?

larsbrinkhoff commented 2 years ago

Here is one by @aap, but I'm not sure how well it captures the definition of the scanlines.

sethm commented 2 years ago

@larsbrinkhoff I'm sorry to say that my VT52 is down at the moment. It's developed a power supply fault, and it's on my "To Do" list to repair.

larsbrinkhoff commented 2 years ago

Sorry to hear that. Speedy recovery!

WarlockD commented 2 years ago

I have part of the motherboard of a VT52 if you want some photos of that.

larsbrinkhoff commented 2 years ago

@WarlockD, thanks for the offer! I want to say yes, but maybe first check online if some else already made photos. How do these look? https://www.google.com/search?q="vt52"+"board"&tbm=isch

Ugh yea, one of those pictures is of the board. Just the pcb wiring on the back is just so weird, almost looks like an Aztec deisgn.
