Some ligatures don't work on Retina font version in Terminal/iTerm2 #203

Some ligatures don't work when font is set to Monoid Retina inside Terminal / iTerm2. This probably extends to other applications as well. The Monoid Regular font successfully renders all ligatures.

Platform/System: MacOSX Sierra / High Sierra (might be applicable to other platforms as well)

Examples:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Terminal / iTerm2 app in MacOSX.
  2. Set font to Monoid Retina 12pt
  3. Test with examples. Failures encountered.
  4. Set font to Monoid Regular 12pt
  5. Test again with examples. Tests pass.

Same problem (OSX Terminal; High Sierra; retina font).

Also <- renders as - (space dash) instead of expected ← with Retina variant. Regular looks fine.

Same in the Atom editor. They all work fine with Monoid-Regular but not with Monoid-Retina

Same here with iterm2, retina and monoisome variants are broken. Regular works fine.
