FreeBSD 11.1 Stable Parallels 13 for Apple Mac macOS 10.13.3 High Sierra

Hello, I am trying to use the Monoisome font with the zsh add-on Prezto within FreeBSD. Currently, my terminal looks like this...

The fact that the font name appears in the terminal preferences available fonts suggests that FreeBSD has installed the font. It's just not displaying very well!

Any ideas what's wrong?

I have Load "freetype" in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but nothing else.

The Monoid font has been added to the FreeBSD Ports Collection today (https://www.freshports.org/x11-fonts/monoid/)! The package should be available shortly. The Monoisome font is included so it should be possible to just install the package and use the font without any problems and xorg.conf tweaking.

Cheers!

When it comes to your specific problem though, I think that the terminal emulator you are using might not support icons. I've tested xterm, alacritty, and st: in all the cases I didn't see the icon in .

I was able to see the icon, however, in Gvim, which suggests that the font is just alright.
