Consider distributing a non-ligature version of Monoid #239

Ligatures are great, but some of editors and terminals support them by default with no option to disable them. Just to name one of each Eclipse IDE and KDE's Konsole. For certain languages e.g. VHDL (just one of... a lot) they are cumbersome. For this reason JetBrains Mono has -NL files with ligatures disabled.

Some minor "hacking" with FontForge and I got what I need, yet plenty of people won't bother.

You can configure the font disabling the ligatures and downloading the version you prefer from https://larsenwork.com/monoid/
