Hello! I have several footnotes in my org documents, but when I export them, only the references remain, not the actual footnotes.
As of October 2021, Github added support for footnotes.[^1] [^1]: You can see here: https://github.blog/changelog/2021-09-30-footnotes-now-supported-in-markdown-fields/.
Could you consider adding this feature, if this project is still active? If it's not active, at least mark this project as unmaintained.
