That's a pretty radical departure from the model of similar/parent communities (HN, reddit, designer news, lobsters, etc). I'm not necessarily opposed; I just think it's a decision that should be weighed carefully.
Relatedly: there is an interesting difference with pullup in that every user can be coupled to a github account, so there's already one more obstacle to anonymity (creating a unique github account separate from any others you may have) than exists on many discussion sites.
@tdhsmith Yeah I'd say anonymity is not a strong point for Pullup, but I think that's ok.
I'd agree that seeing other user's upvotes is a pretty significant departure from other sites. It's more akin to "favoriting" on other sites (del.icio.us comes to mind). I'm not opposed to that, but it probably merits a change to the verbiage and icons from a "vote".
I agree with @treygriffith and go farther to suggest that we use "Like", if for no other reason than because it's most likely to translate to non-native English speakers (I blame Facebook).
Having the ability to remove my likes would also be nice.
With the addition of tags for posts, I could see this turning into a more personalized news site. You can see news that everybody likes, news that you might like based on other things you liked, etc. Could be neat, actually.
I dig this idea, especially because it's departure from other sites. It also may be a natural way to encourage thoughtful voting.

Really like this idea @chall8908. I'd love to follow/view only links PG or tptacek has upvoted on HN, for example.
Seems like there is no need to keep it anonymous, and it would be nice to know who digs something.
