Tracks played on repeat don't scrobble as expected

Setup:

• Windows 10
• Scrobbler 3.1.6.50
• Scrobbling from iTunes or WMP

Steps:

• Play a track on repeat

Actual behaviour:

• The Scrobbler shows a "successfully scrobbled 1 track" notification for each play
• Only the first play of the track is shown as scrobbled on my profile

Expected:

• All plays of the track I'm playing on repeat are scrobbled to my profile

Notes:

• I think it might be submitting scrobbles, but with the timestamp of the first play and the site doesn't allow scrobbles of the same track with the same timestamp; I deleted the scrobble of the first play, and then when I played the track 10 minutes after the first play it got scrobbled to my profile as "10 minutes" ago, i.e. having the time of that first play
• The Scrobbler doesn't show "now playing" notifications for tracks on repeat

You're right, the current media item isn't updated as the track is deemed not to have changed. On reaching the end of a track, the media detail is now wiped and re-populated resulting in a correct Scrobble and as a result the Now Playing notification appears/
