Firefighting Icons #286

Hello Google Maps Icons Team! I am a volunteer firefighter in rural Ohio and I
am working on getting our older people uses to GPS Navigation. Right now we use
Google Maps and Google Latitude to track our vehicles, historical run data
(Fusion Tables. My only trouble is getting some of the less computer savvy to
understand the icons they are looking at.

Is it possible to create a set that includes.
-Wildland fire (burning bush, red)
-Structure fire (burning house, red)
-Fire Hydrant (Blue, Red, Green, Orange) This helps the operator know how many
gallons per minute they can get from the hydrant.
-Crashed Car (Green, Yellow, Red) indicating victim status.

I know that this sounds like a lot to ask, but to be honest it is above my
technical ability and our little department has little funding for commercial
software that is designed for firefighting.

We really appreciate all that you folks do, you have really helped us improve
the ability to protect the lives of people in our community.

Hello Mister Firefighter !

We can't create custom colored icons to keep color themed categories
(blue=offices, red=sports, ...°.

Anyway, you will find a lot of event related icons in Events category :

They are all gray but there is fire, explosion, even plane crash but I hope you
won't get that so soon.

Glad we could help with our tiny icons :)

I created a hydrant set in the colors you mention and just uploaded as an
issue. Hope they meet your needs! Regards, Jim
