It looks like on macOS 14 you'll finally be able to add your own codecs to macOS! Woohoo!

We'll look at adding an official BRAW MediaExtension plugin ASAP.

Unfortunately the MediaExtension API/SDK has disappeared from the Apple Universe, so I'm going to close this issue for now.
