make shit work for Python 3.6

I'm not installing a legacy interpreter because Guido is too much of a bitch. I want a benevolent dictator for life, not a bitchy little princess who lacks a backbone, doesn't use semver and worries about neckbeards having to actually maintain their scripts.

Very much appreciated. I wasn't aware of mysqlclient, I did look at this when I wrote pdbc, obviously not hard enough.
