screen blank when viewing in menu you can see picture

I do not get any picture but sound is fine. But when I put the menu on you can 
see the video in the back ground, as soon as I go back to the video it goes 
black again

Im using windows 7 
latest navi X

Problem:
If I goto say live stream, it will load fine. I can hear the sound perfect, but 
the screen is black. Now if I was to press ESC to bring the menu up, then I can 
see the video behind the menu of the channel. If I go back to the live stream 
and close the menu, the sounds stays working, the screen goes black again. I 
can see the start stop console, just no stream. Again if I press to bring up 
the menu, I can see the stream again. Remove the menu stream goes black.. I 
have been told its a resolution issue, is this correct that when the menu is 
bought up the resolution changes to a working one for the UK and when menu is 
closed again, the stream changes too something that the UK systems cannot 
understand? If you or anyone have any fix for this please let me know.. Thankyou
