Make login page the entry point for the application - similar to Google Wave 
client.

Its like that because I like the idea of seeing all the public waves until 
you've logged in. But, wave in a box currently has no notion of public waves.

You're probably right - until then it makes sense to automatically redirect the 
user to the sign in page if they're not logged in.

+1. Public waves are a way off and until then we can save user clicks by going 
straight to login.
