https where none exists doesn't fail or time out #61

If url for remote ship specifies https where none exists, nothing times out or fails, but nothing renders. Home/welcome screen shows ship as connected. Assume behavior should be time out or fail to connect message, with no connected ship on home/welcome screen. (OSX)
