Hello @zs-codex, thank you for reporting the issue. We are able to reproduce this issue and are working on a fix. We will give an update when we have the solution for this issue.
@zs-codex, while we still need some time to decide on how to roll out the fix because the fix changes the build steps in the example code, would it be possible for you to try building your application using com.android.tools.build:gradle:7.0.4
and using the latest gradle distribution https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.3.2-all.zip
? The root cause is due to the timber library upgrade (See https://github.com/JakeWharton/timber/issues/436)

To reproduce Change
implementation 'com.launchdarkly:launchdarkly-android-client-sdk:3.1.1'
toimplementation 'com.launchdarkly:launchdarkly-android-client-sdk:3.1.2'
Then run./gradlew clean assembleRelease
Expected behavior Build log the same as before
