Describe the bug
reading a message in the app marks the message as read and shows this by dimming the message, however this is only reflective in the app and not on reddit.com when viewing on the computer. the same is true the other way around, reading a message on reddit.com on the computer dims the message indicating it was read, but checking in the sync app the message still shows as new.
Steps to Reproduce
open a message in a subreddit on the app
return to subreddit's messages list to see message was read indicated by the dimming of the message
open subreddit's messages list on reddit.com
same message that was opened and dimmed on the app is not dimmed, indicating it has not been read yet
happens the same way around if opening a message on reddit.com first and going through steps 2-4 in reverse
Expected behavior
messages marked as read in the app are also marked as read on reddit.com and vice versa, essentially syncing is not working somewhere
