[BUG] Sync adds transparent background to the navigation bar in One UI 5.1

Description
On One UI 5.1 update, I'm getting this weird translucent background on my navigation bar when it is set to gestures mode. I am not seeing this bug on any other app that is edge-to-edge, like KurobaEx.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Turn on Gestures in Navigation Bar in Android Settings
2. Open Reddit Sync
3. See navigation bar gain a translucent background while inside Sync.

Expected behavior
The Android navigation bar, when set to gestures, should have no background color behind it.

• Sync variant: Pro and Regular (with ads removed)
