In safe mode with plugins disabled this does not happen.

I have repro'd this on Windows as well (though I do not get the same log message as @luigicarrini )

Update: I disabled the "macOS theme" plugin and no longer experience the freeze/crash when scrolling the sidebar.

Firstly, we do not assign issues. And secondly, if you read the discussion above, you'll see that it's most likely a problem with a particular plugin, not Joplin itself.
