Strikethrough does not work when it ends with a link

Current behaviour

When the text with the strikethrough ends with a link strikethrough is not displayed correctly.

I use a note to document HTTP configuration instructions of an IOT device. I use strikethrough to keep the history after configuration changes.

Expected behaviour

Displaying links with strikethrough correctly.

• I can reproduce this on the upstream Markdown-it demo website.
  • Upstream issue.
• Joplin's Rich Text Editor converts ~~[http://example.com/test/](http://example.com/test/)~~ to ~~http://example.com/test/~~ when saved.
• GitHub renders ~~http://example.com/test/~~ as http://example.com/test/.
