Is this an implementation of the ORB ? #1

hello, I try to wirte a code to reproduce the rbrief part of ORB algorithm recently but I ran into some problems. I saw you had written the words "useful when if some knowledge of the orientation around the camera principle axis is given". It confused me cause the rbrief part of ORB doesnt have this extra requirement. Is this an implementation of the rbrief part in ORB?

It merely depends how you use the orientation functionality. If you orient it according to the image gradient, you achieve the ORB functionality.
