This was based on https://github.com/lauriii/drupalcores/pull/109, but I'm not sure how to contribute to that PR. Build passes on travis (see https://travis-ci.org/borisson/drupalcores/builds/342984758)

I tested this locally in a CLI, and Gulp finishes properly now. (Before this, Gulp would say all the tasks have finished, but you wouldn't get back to a shell prompt.)

I closed #109 in favour of this PR.

Thanks! This does fix the CI failures. 👍 I did also upgrade the node on the server to 8.9.4.
