Thanks for the PR! Using $parse is clearly more elegant. :+1:

Thanks a lot for pulling. Angular-bacon allowed me to scrap my own less elegant API for the same thing. The $parse trick was the only thing worth porting at this level. So thanks for a great library, will send more commits if I come up with anything else.
