Piotr is most likely talking about letting people logging in with their custom email addresses, and I support this idea.

Example: john@lavaboom.com owns johnswag.com and sets up the address jdog@johnswag.com => then he can log in with jdog@johnswag.com and his password (and, not to forget, his 10 multi-factor authentication devices).
