so we want to embed images by default in incoming mails? with zero-knowledge this is one more step that happens after decryption. this wasn't sent by a lavaboom account. right now i think @let4be is embedding images as data:URI when the email is composed - that was about being anonymous when you send emails. not when you receive it form other parties. @let4be ?
what happens when you switch on 'load external images' in settings @flixi ?
Currently we embed only d&d images, I'm going to add an option to embed external images as well.
Previously ritratt had some issues with content types and get/head, weird but it turned out that some http servers doesn't support head requests at all.
Currently rr isn't even deployed, I'll do it today.

Is it still dead? https://rr.lavaboom.io/i/images.paypal.com/en_US/i/icon/icon_help_16x16.gif returns bad gateway
Image caching through Lavaboom doesn't work properly.
