I was thinking about a candy for our super techy privacy-savvy users: The Paranoid Mode.
This mode would allow the user to set all settings to maximal feasible security with one click.
This would include:
Lavaboom Sync switched off (keyPair backup needed)
no external images
no styling allowed
2-factor authentication(?)
encrypting KeyPairs with individual keys(?)
Once the Paranoid Mode is activated, all security settings below are deactivated and greyed out.
A pop up appears (are you sure?), explain the consequences, forces the user to backup the key pair and suggests to buy a UbiKey (link?)
Important: When Paranoid Mode is deactivated again, the security settings go back to the state before.
I've talked to @flixi about this and he generally liked the idea. What do you guys think? @andreis @mlooz ?
I love this. Let's put it way in the backlog, though, on the implementation side. On the design side it would be nice to have mocks, it would make for great PR too. :)
