User Story: As a defi investor I want to quickly understand what Lava Financial is So that I can decide if it interests me.

Acceptance Criteria: Update "Welcome to the most explosive place in DeFi." to:

A sustainable, revenue-sharing protocol powered by NFTs

[below in a smaller font] Own your share of protocol revenue, generated via:

  1. sister projects (Divvy & Prism)
  2. access to seed investments (Magpie, Shardeum, Partisia, Amplitude, Tinkernet, & The Standard)
  3. yield farming
  4. trading bots

Five potential suggestion to consider. Will continue producing more/ edit existing ones:

1) Own your share of a DeFi protocol

Core message is the ability to own a portion of Lava financial. Pretty plain and simple. Could add existing line in smaller font underneath

2) A DeFi hub of revenue and seed opportunities

Core message is about the rewards LVP holders are eligible to + access to seed level investments.

3) Providing revenue through decentralized fractionalized treasury services. Access to seed opportunities, revenue sharing from sister projects and profit generation strategies(smaller font)

Core message revolves around the Economic model Lava uses. Refer to how treasury is being used.

4)A community owned revenue sharing protocol Own your share, get access to seed opportunities, earn rewards.

Focusing on ownership, economic model and utility.

5) Decentralized venture capital investing protocol. Access to seed investments, incubate projects, share dividends.

Use more financial jargon. Highlight the decentralized aspect, the purpose of the project, the functions of the project as well as the rewards for its users.

@larry-lava & I were talking through these. First of all, great work. Love these ideas.

Some more thoughts:

  1. NFT should probably be in this tagline
  2. compare the NFTs to "shares" in a company, but be careful to not bring the SEC to our door
  3. goal 1: pique defi investor's interest
  4. goal 2: concisely describe the project
  5. use buzz words that might draw attention? like "real yield"?

we like "Own your share of a DeFi protocol" ...especially the "Own your share" part. But the "of a DeFi protocol" part is not very descriptive.

we like "revenue sharing protocol"

Re: "A community owned" we've only used the DAO voting thing once. Let's not highlight owned.

can we just list those in a tagline?:

We like the "own your share" because it's speaking directly to the potential investor.

But we struggle with how to incorporate NFT into it. One attempt: Our NFTs let you own a share of protocol revenue via sister projects, seed investments, yield farming & trading bots

...but it doesn't speak directly to the investor anymore.

I’ve gone through the top 50 DeFi projects based on TVL (bless Defillama) to get a sense of how the best deal with their tag lines. The format I saw the most was a big tagline describing the project in a concise manner followed by a smaller tag speaking directly to the investor. We are in a good path.

Key Lava elements: Core tenet of Lava is to provide fully sustainable revenue sharing model. Lava uses NFTs to represent the treasury Owning of NFT = Ownership of portion of treasury NFT holders get access to seed level investment, profit from sister projects revenue, yield farming and trading bots.

Hopefully perfect tagline?

  1. Leveraging the technology of NFTs to provide a sustainable revenue sharing protocol.

Own your share, access seed investments, claim your revenue from sister projects, yield farming and trading bots. (Smaller tagline)

  1. A Sustainable Revenue sharing protocol powered by NFTs.

Own your share of protocol revenue via sister projects, seed investments, yield farming & trading bots. (Smaller tagline)

@LavaScribe thank you so much for doing that research! Great idea! Key Lava elements seems spot on to me, nice job writing this up.

I vote for #2 with a small edit (add the word generated, and maybe turn the comma-separated list into a numbered list):

@simondorfman list looks a lot better than having them with commas.

I am just itching to put into the list the "access to seed investments" instead of putting seed investments in the list as another source of revenue.

It sounds like a powerful tool to have the ability to put your own allocation in seed level investments and would have a greater appeal to potential investors rather than listing it simply as revenue.

Might be overthinking it. I do think that we have created a very good tagline. Glad to be part of the process :)

@larry-lava I updated "seed investments" to "access to seed investments" in the acceptance criteria above. that sound good to you? later on the page, we can describe the different levels and how some NFTs have access to different levels.

For the order of seed investments lets go with this:

  1. Magpie
  2. Shardeum
  3. Partisia
  4. Amplitude
  5. Tinkernet
  6. The Standard
  7. Defi Spot

The order is a combination of the investments we think are likely to be the most lucrative along with the dates they will start vesting. We have others as well, but I don't think they're worth including here as they are either smaller deals or we've been told by 6k we can't announce them.
