Is there any way to assign mp3/mp4 file extensions to system resources, so 
that i can play them directly within mobilefinder?

As soon as there is an mp3/mp4 player out there that will play them, or a hack 
to get
the iPod program to accept arguments, I'd love to implement this.

There's the playaudio terminal command from Erica's utilities (I think). Firing 
up
apps in the Terminal would be nice anyway, so we could edit files in vi (which 
is
much better than Text Edit, you can even copy and paste with vi)...

did you ever figure out a way to open a mp4 file directly from mobilefinder?
