What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.make a folder in applications
2.try to delete it (to see if its not just me)
3.if it works its just me, if not its a bug
4.delete file w/ssh, make sure you home close (not completely close from
settings)
5.try to open finder

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Finder opens normally
Finder crashes after it loads up

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.8

Please provide any additional information below.
ive tried rebooting, reinstalling, nothing works... mabey you can make it so the finder opens the
applications, bookmarks, sync and trash directory (the one that opens when you
press the
shortcut button that has an apple on it) if the last known directory is deleted?

Edit: oh thank god! I was able to get it to work by using mobile text edits
find in finder command.

Not sure what the exact problem is, but I suspect that MobileFinder is
attempting to
open a path that does not exsist. To reset MobileFinder to defaults, use ssh to
delete ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.mobilefinder.plist

Sorry for the late reply!
