Can't successfully run Preview or TextEdit from Finder #88

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install MobileFinder 1.8.0 from code.google.com
2. Install MobilePreview 0.1.0 from code.google.com by just copying the
   Preview.app dir into /Applications.  (was this the right thing to do?)
3. Install MobileTextEdit 0.3.1 from code.google.com by just copying the
   TextEdit.app dir into /Applications.
4. Double-click on text file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

  I expect to see the text file open in TextEdit app.
  Screen shifts briefly to a blank screen, then goes to Springboard.
  No errors reported.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

  Firmware 2.2.  Finder 1.8.0. Preview 0.1.0.  TextEdit 0.3.1
