Mobilefinder crashes at startup #91

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Everything has worked great for weeks now. A few days ago it started
crashing at start up.

What is the expected output? it should work! -- What do you see instead?
finder starts up and gets to the main app screen like it is about to show
files... then files briefly appear and the app closes and goes back to the
springboard

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest and latest

Please provide any additional information below.
I tried reinstalling, remove and reinstall. Deleted the .plist in
preferences. as best I can remember, it started failing after I updated
backgrounder, but cant be for sure.

Thanks for looking into this and providing assistance. I come to rely on
this app!!!

Unable to run mobilefinder 1.8.0, or any other version, since iphone OS 3.0
update. Finder starts up, and then
closes. Never have a chance to use any of the functions in the app. I really
appreciated having the entire
directory structure available.

Is there an actual solution to this?
Do we know if Backgrounder is the issue?

I have never used this app before, just installed it and it doesn't work.
Crashes after loading - back to springboard.

I do have Backgrounder installed - I'll try removing it and see what happens.

Nope. Removed Backgrounder and same issue.

I open up Finder, it gets to the opening screen, I can see the buttons
Find/Create/Modify... at the bottom and crashes back to the Springboard.

Any help?

I have the same issue, but it might be installation related. When installing,
what
should be done with the following:

1. Finder.app permissions/ownership
2. Finder.app/* permissions/ownership
3. in the installation instructions, what does this mean? "install /bin/cp,
/bin/mv,
and ssh/sftp"

Thanks for any suggestions.
