Crashing at startup #92

Background:
Iphone 3GS, 3.0 firmware, jailbroken using RedSn0w. 
all the original apps plus (in the order of install) cydia, cydia installer
package, Debian tools, Installous, Mobile Finder.
All the packages are the latest versions as of 14 July 2009

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. pressing the mobileFinder icon on springboard 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
mobileFinder functional screen. instead the screen appears for a split
second but before showing file list it crashes back to springboard.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Product version: 55-3
OS version: Standard Jailbroken iPhone 3.0 OS.

Please provide any additional information below.
all other programs function properly. i'm able to browse files through
mobileTerminal and execute actions no problem.

Hey I'm having the same prolem did u change your su root psswrd because I think 
that may be the issue

Yes i changed my root password. Keeping it as alpine is a really bad idea. If 
that's
the problem then they need to have a feature where you enter your own custom 
password.
