Mobile finder crashes after startup

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the program mobile finder 
2. wait For loading and then crash 
3. Back onto the springboard 

Mobile finder is just supposed to run and show me my directories 
but instead it crashes on startup, I think it's because I changed the root 
password
from alpine to a personal one so that I don't get the rick roll virus on my 
iPhone.

I'm using the ported version by saurik for the 3.0 firmware

Please provide any additional information below.

I changed my default password for "mobile" and "root" back to "alpine" then 
restarted
the phone, re-installed Mobile Finder, and in all cases, it still crashes on 
startup.

1st Gen iPhone running 3.1.2.
