autofill suggestion could not be canceled in iphone IOS 4.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add a textarea or textbox in a scrollable area
2. input text as long as the auto suggestion box appears 
3. try to click on the auto suggestion box for canceling the suggestion, it 
won't disappear

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.7.1 and IOS 4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
with IOS 4.1 the suggestion box disappears on click. I tried this on real 
phones and in the simulator.
