this logisim version embed some of the features : http://www.pyr.ch/logisim_goes_fpga_2_9_12.jar

That would be nice to merge here

Howdy @prochat or @RyDroid

I don't know French, but would you be willing to find their source code or chat them up about it? Having the ability to flash an Altera device within Logisim would be super awesome.

I see they have a page here:

http://www.pyr.ch/dokuwiki/doku.php

But I don't know where to go from there.

Derp, I see they apparently have their source in their jar file, but I'll need to see if I can get that working in our fork. :+1:

sorry, my mistake, i didn't mention sources were in jar. I've watched a bit and their extensions are filling old code requirements, so you may have to process the same changes you did for other components. I you have any problem with french, I would be pleased to help.

As I'm a bit java fluent, I've tried to dive into this code, then tried to handle which kind of modifications you made but it's quite deep and took me a lot of time to mess up everything ;).

I hope you will be able to merge, as I'd like to package your version (enhanced with these addons) for debian (with your help).

Hello, @lawrancej I know Pierre-Yves Rochat and actually followed the mentionned course. You can find more documentation, here is the course home page: https://www.coursera.org/course/microcontroleurs but everything is in French. Two professeur are teaching this course: Pierre-Yves Rochat and Jean-Daniel Nicoud who is a retired professeur of EPFL. Jean-Daniel Nicoud is also operating a company that distribute electronic materials for educational purpose: www.didel.com. They are very nice personns, do not hesitate to contact them (you can even mention my name).
