Maintain state of remaining time between browser sessions #51

Nice to maintain how much time is left even after a user has closed and reopened the browser.

NOTE that that is NOT the same as maintaining an ongoing countdown when the browser is closed. It is assumed that if a countdown is occurring and the browser is closed, that the countdown is 'paused' due to the browser shutdown.
