We need to explore what we'd do with that information, how it would be used externally, etc.

Creating lists of subordinate legislation issued by a particular minister is useful to researchers who work in subject areas under the administration of a particular Ministry. Further, subject areas can move between Ministries and this has caused confusion within government and amongst users in a subject area. Competence to issue regulations in a particular area has sometimes been challenged. Finally, it will aide law reform and administration of the particular legislation, if Ministers administering said regulations have an easy way of sorting a list of all subsidiaries issued under their purview
