- There need to be a minimum height for the main white content area. Design it so that the footer is always in the black space. #2

Since the background is scalable, that means you'd want the content area to be scalable as well? Or do you think a minimum 500px height is okay?

As discussed, Cheryl, happy for you to make the background fixed, then just use the respective "end images" for the colors to continue. Thanks!
