a while ago BTTV added chat modifiers like !v or !h that changes orientation of the emote among other things. i'm not sure how difficult it would be to render so just wondering if it's ever going to become a feature

BTTV and FFZ modifiers are definitely planned, however they add a fair amount of complexity (if we want to render them when not followed by a valid emote). I think I know how I would like to tackle the problem, which should also speed up rendering times at the same time, but until I have the time to rewrite the rendering code they will unfortunately remain unsupported.
