9 years ago To be any helpful, about the full width-boxed layout, this is how the single.php looks with boxed layout as it is now, on my test site http://goo.gl/vtvZHF. Personally if I had a setting to chose between boxed and full for the main content too, where is the case( archive and single), I wold have left the boxed layout for one sidebar but for both, I would have gone definetly full width.

9 years ago Hey @ckubs the full-site boxing is on our roadmap, there are a bunch of options that would change when implementing that feature.

9 years ago @marcperel The microdata would be a nice addition, not mandatory and the full boxing for other parts of the theme than the one built with layers it's a must. I hope though the update won't drastically change thins. I really started to like Layers and made already some design on that I don't want to change http://goo.gl/mv9ti6
Digging trough Layers and comparing it to the similar frameworks available, I think the microdata support will be a great addition. If Google loves it I guess everyone will do.
Right now, you have a setting to switch from boxed layout to full width but it's only available to Layer widgets, header and footer. If it doesn't require too much coding you should also enable this to main content. single.php, page.php, and archive pages should look better, matching the rest.
