outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files, because of this theme theme getting approve in themeforest.

Have you updated to Layers 2.0.9? That should fix the woocommerce issues

Already on 2.0.9 but still:

layerswp/archive-product.php version 3.3.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.4.0,
