The ingredient "Foul Fume" can't be made in the Witches Oven because it would smelt oak wood into coal as a side effect, which is disabled. This prevents Witchery poppets and dreamweavers from being crafted as well as the Goggles of Revealing from Thaumcraft. This may also affect Thaumcraft progression since several high-level items can only be made while wearing a full set of Thaumaturge's clothing (these items give a vis discount).

You're meant to use the Distillery to make Foul Fume.
