Login Shield simply prevents damage while loading in, until the player is able to interact with the world. Also has a config to help with the multiplayer bug where one can fall through unloaded terrain and into the void while logging in. As the latter seems to happen more often with packs with more content, both features would be beneficial to this pack for people with slower computers or multiplayer players with slower internet.
