I have designs (on dead tree, not a format I can upload here, sadly) for a native watch app.

Glance that shows your daily/average caffeine intake
Full app that lets you add new input and see history
Wire up notifications to have an "other" button that works on-watch

Probably gonna wait til watchOS 2 at this point.
